If you're anything like me and like to have things completed, I would recommend unlocking the elite specializations and doing map completion at some point - you need the maps completed for when you decide to craft a legendary. The story in the expansions guides you through the maps so you'll explore a decent amount and you'll get important masteries like gliding and mounts. What exactly should i buy? what makes the best sense, should i buy gems, the expansions, just preorder end of dragons? do i get the other expansions for free if i preorder it?.Recently was thinking about getting back to GW2 because of end of dragons which will introduce Cantha, it was something i always wanted to explore. I bought the game back in the day when it came out, played it a lot until the first expansion, but then real life intruded and i stopped playing mmos altogether. Returning player here, completely confused at what i should buy, preorder, do.
